PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The project aims to promote the involvement of long-term unemployed into the society and facilitate hem finding a suitable permanent job or a suitable education/training, reducing the risks of social exclusion.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES

During project implementation, the unemployed of the target groups will be provided with the following support measures:

1. individual professional counseling and group counseling (including career, psychologist, psychotherapist consultations) that promote personal self-confidence and increase motivation to integrate into the labor market;
2. health checks for determining appropriateness for work with environmental factors harmful to health, that are possible in the offered work, as well as individual employment seeking plans provided during active employment measures;
3. the unemployed with disabilities of expected disabilities, by making recommendation for jobs suitable to the unemployed, as well as the associated active employment measure in accordance to the health of the unemployed. Determination of professional suitability will be implemented in cooperation with the collaboration partners of the project implementer – the Social Integration State Agency;
4. motivation program for job seeking which includes motivating measures, support and consultations for solving individual social problems, and mentor services to help the unemployed after completing the motivation program to settle in a permanent workplace and by providing psychological support;
5. support measures, including the Minnesota 12 step program, the emotional stress therapy (coding) and the receipt of a narcologist’s opinion on the unemployed person’s addiction problems.

PROJECT TARGET GROUPS

The project target group are the unemployed:

1. who have been unemployed for at least 12 months;
2. who have been unemployed for at least 12 months and who at least once have refused a suitable job offer or refused to participate in the active employment measures offered in the individual job search plans of the unemployed, and the refusal is not justified by a medical opinion or disability;
3. disabled or having an expected disability, who have been unemployed for at least 12 months and who at least once have refused a suitable job offer or refused to participate in the active employment measures offered in the individual job search plans of the unemployed, if the refusal has justified by disability;
4. who, according to the narcologist’s opinion have addiction to alcohol, drugs or psychotropic substances;
5. who might have addiction to alcohol, drugs or psychotropic substances but it has not been approved by a narcologist’s opinion.

FUNDING

The planned total referable funding is 15 159 162 EUR, which includes funding from European social fund – 15 159 162 EUR.

 

EXPECTED RESULTS

 

The project involves 18 345 long-term unemployed people. After completion of the support measure, 875 participants have been involved in employment or self-employment. The number of participants in education/training, qualifications or in employment, including self-employment within six months after participating in the event - 4108 participants of the event.  APPENDICES
