This year the State Employment Agency is holding the campaign "Seasonal Work" helping employers to find workers for seasonal work and for job seekers – a job opportunity. Regularly updated information on available vacancies can be found on SEA’s website in the "Seasonal Work" (in Latvian). Participation in the campaign is free of charge for both employers and jobseekers.
Registered unemployed persons, who are temporarily employed in seasonal jobs, retain the status of unemployed, if the period of temporary employment does not exceed a total of 120 days within a period of 12 months and the person is temporarily employed for no more than two times within a period of 12 months.
Employers can participate by registering vacancies on the SEA’s CV and vacancies portal and selecting “seasonal work” as the type of employment (read more about registering vacancies here) or use the free personnel selection service offered at SEA’s branch offices.
